This is my first attempt at a tutorial with pictures so keep that in mind! We are making a fall wall hanging today!
If you bought my kit you will have everything you need, if not you will need: 4- 4in chipboard coasters, 4- squares of designer paper measuring 3 7/8 in. glitter paper cut with the word "fall" I used my silhouette to cut these at 4in default, some ribbon and embellishments! Step 1. Lay out your coasters and find the bottom one with only two holes punched, I numbered mine 1-4 on the back to keep them straight while I worked.
Step 2. Apply glue or adhesive to the back of each of your papers and center onto your coasters, the paper is slightly smaller so try to get glue all the way to the edges...I used "green glue" or aka Stampin' Up Mutipurpose glue
Step 3. Once all four of your papers are glued down use an ink pen to poke the holes through the paper where your chipboard is already punched.
Step 4. (Optional) if you have ink and a dauber and would like to accent your coasters go ahead and ink the edges.
Step 5. Pull your ribbon front to back and secure with glue or tape on all of the coasters, make sure to use the long ribbon on the top and try to hang your ribbon equally so your coasters are straight!
Step 6. Once all your ribbons are secure (and straight) you can glue down the backing paper to cover the taped ribbon. Turn them over and add your lettering and embellishments, in the kit for the "f" block, there is a gray corduroy and small purple button, included is some linen thread if you want to thread your buttons like I did, along with 2 sequins, for the "a" block there is burlap heart and a small button (blue or green) with 3 more sequins, for the "l" block put down your textured leaf first add the letter and a button (blue or green) and 2 more sequins, the last "l" block has 2 wooden accents, a yellow string (bow) and 2 more sequins. I added a little ink to my wooden pieces but they look good naturally too! Have fun!
